Douglas Fir - 8”x10” Print
I am a 90-year old Douglas Fir from Victoria, B.C.
With my thin rings, I don’t look like a Douglas Fir, but that’s just because I came from a branch. The main branches of a tree are known as the boughs. Boughs act as the support system for smaller branches and leaves who undergo photosynthesis to feed me, the other branches, and our trunk and roots. All parts of a tree work together to branch out, flourish, and grow – like a family.
The black rings represent my winter growth; whereas the white rings represent my summer growth.
Each print comes with a copy of your tree’s story.
All prints are made to order.
